Are you interested in expanding your English conversation topics? In this video, I’ll share with you a simple, useful English conversation that you can use immediately to start learning English quickly and without overwhelm. Stay tuned.
A: Hello, this is the Sydney Harbour Hotel. How can I help you?
B: Hi, my name is Christopher Smith and I’ll be arriving in a few days and I would like to confirm my reservation.
A: Certainly Mr. Smith, when will you be arriving?
B: I arrive Thursday and will be staying for seven nights.
A: Okay, I’ll check that for you. Yes, I have you here in our system. Arriving Thursday and staying with us for seven nights.
B: Thank you, that’s a relief.
A: You’re welcome Mr. Smith, is there anything else I can help you with? An airport transfer perhaps?
B: Actually, that might be helpful. How much does a transfer cost?
A: For $30 a driver will collect you from either the domestic or international airport and bring you straight to our hotel.
B: That sounds great, I will take the transfer.
A: Excellent, we just need to know your flight number and your flight’s arrival time.
B: Okay, I’ll send those details through to you as soon as I can. Thank you for your help.
A: You’re welcome Sir. Have a nice day.
B: You too.
